Company and Club
Dance Company
Washington College Dance Company is open, by audition, to all students. The Company performs in public and private schools, and the Maryland State Dance Festival. Performances include 16th century court dances at the annual Renaissance Christmas Feast with the Music Department, Fall Family Day on campus, a spring dance concert, the Birthday Ball, off campus invitations.
Dance Club
- Technique classes in ballet, modern dance, jazz, tap, ballroom dance, lyrical, and hip hop
- Field trips to workshops and festivals
- Workshops and classes by master teachers
- Lectures, demonstrations, and performances on campus by professional dancers and companies
- Field trips to concerts and performances
